Leland was born and raised in Mallet's Bay and spent time at Colchester Middle School and Colchester High School before graduating from Rice Memorial. He was proudly educated in state at both Saint Michael's College and the University of Vermont where he was a collegiate athlete. Leland is part owner of his family's construction company and values the hard work of others in the trades. In his free time, you will find him skiing, fishing, hunting and serving the community.
